I have worked with many people from New Zealand.

It sounds like a beautiful place to visit in summer.

However, from what I have been told, Australia is a better place to live. That's why so many New Zealanders are here.

If NZ wasn't so damn cold and wet I'd have moved years ago. The people are more polite, the lamb tastes way better, they treat tourists better, they have a greater understanding and respect of their Indigenous (Maori) people, they are more tolerant and still have a community feel. Plus they don't cave in to US policy and stand their ground on the whole nuclear arms thing, and have a pretty good attitude to conservation and environment for the most part. They're also way creative and win all sorts of advertising and creativity awards. Of course there's the downside of employment issues and youth suicide and other social problems found in most countries and its major cities. Besides the weather, NZ seems to be a pretty good place.

NZ sounds like a beautiful place, I would love to visit even for a couple of years . Mauldi people if that is how it is spelt and the white folk all seem really cool.

To visit yes, not to live. Amazing scenery and a great place to holiday.

It seems like so many Kiwi's are calling Australia home these days, they must know something about the place that we don't.
