i don't think it's important because they already know that you love them except when it''s going to be a long time when your going to see or talk to them again .this doesn't apply to kids they need it as often as possible

I strongly agree, though I'm trying to do that consistently. Every little good thing that family or extended family do is a blessing to you. A hug or even a smile can mean a lot to them. And yes, you don't know if it's the last time you'll ever see them, might as well say you love them and/or hug them.

I definately agree and I give my daughter hugs and kisses several times a day and tell her I love her all the time. It's important to know that you are loved. We weren't that way growing up but now the rest of my family gets hugs often too and I say I love them because we realize you just never know if you will see them later like you expect.

Yes, I believe it is very important for the exact reason you gave. No, I have not seen any of my family today, but when I see them, I always give them a hug. Glad to know you do too. I always say "I love you" every time I talk to them on the phone. You are great. Consider yourself hugged by proxy.

Absolutely ! I love to give hugs and tell everyone I care about that I love them. I want them to always know that, because if something bad ever happened to me or them, then at least I got to hug them and say I loved them before it happened.

YES! I always give hugs and kisses to my children and hubby. You never know about tomorrow. I lost my mother when I was a young child, I barely remember her and I wish I could have gave her more kisses and hugs...so I give them all the more to my family! SO YES!!!

Very good question , but i believe its important to hug and say those three words only when you truly mean you - or else its of no use since its not true !

Oh yes. Because how else will they know? I'm sure people assume their family knows they love them but it's very important to show it. It makes them feel better, and assured that you are there.
