Intl flights.

Check in, Security screening, Passport control, Boarding.

Domestic

Check in (now on the internet for some airlines), Security and then boarding.

That is the common procedure in most countries. In Australia anyway!

What are you asking? maybe you should rephrase your question. and the word is embark or embarking, "embarkcation" is not a word.
