I had my legs waxed on Saturday and my beautician found a stray ingrowing hair. She recommended that I exfoliate thoroughly for a few days by which time the hair will be near enough the surface for me to get some tweezers and gently pull it out. She also recommended that to prevent them happening, I should exfoliate and moisturise very thoroughly every day. It might be a little more problematic on your bikini line, but I'd give that a go. Be gentle on your skin and don't try to force them out as it may scar.

hi,
i have the same problem on my legs i use a product called nair from boots they do waxing products which is what they are known for but they also do a spray that combats ingrown hairs you spray it after you have shaved and then it prevents then from popping up. it is quite costly i think something like 6-12 pounds but it does work and apart from the major expensive products thats the best one on the high street. hope this helps!!!!

This can happen if the hair is not long enough.
Always gently exfoliate areas where you shave or wax
You will find you get more ingrown hairs on the bikini line because
1. the hair is curly
2. its at a join, which means its skin on skin

before you wax your bikini line next time exfoliate the area with a gentle everyday exfoliant, then make sure the area is really dry so the wax sticks well. use a little bit of body powder to make sure it's really dry. i also suggest having a proffesional wax that area because it's so sensative, it's probably worth the extra money

I have the same problem...not very nice on the eyes is it?!
U are prob best just leaving them until they are ready 2 show face (so to speak). I have tried removing them with tweezers which works sometimes but mostly just causes the bumps 2 get bigger and sometimes they bleed which is even sorer.

I always exfoliate my bikini line, it means the hairs dont get a chance to ingrow (thats what causes rashes) Plus after ive shaved i always put talc on the area because it stops it from stinging/ itching... works wonders. If you do get spots or rashes put some sudacrem on it, Its actually for nappy rash but works a treat... If its good enough for babies butts its good enough for me!!

Use a good exfoliator after you shave your legs. If you still get them, a beauty salon can tease them out for you and set you up with products to treat them, possibly containing salicylic acid (I think) but don't take my word for that part. I know exfoliating helps though!

place a damp, warm towel over the area for 15-20 minutes before you wax or shave. it prevents ingrown hairs. hope this helps! ;)

don't listen to those morons. i also get those. i don't think there's a real way of preventing ingrown hairs so i just wait till they grow out. do NOT try and take them out. trust me. i've tried that and i just got more angry red bumps
