Keep in mind, that once you start shaving an area, you have to keep shaving the area. I would consider waxing, which pulls the hair out including the root. If you really hate that hair, research laser hair removal and see if you are a viable candidate. Do your homework on who you choose, to ensure your safety.

From: Milady's Standard Textbook of Cosmetology
"Shaving does not cause the hair to grow thicker or stronger, it only seems that way because the razor blunts the hair ends and makes them feel stiff."

Hehe, not THAT nasty. I think I've noticed mine coming in just a little thicker and darker (not longer), but I always keep it short. I would reccommend only removing it when needed (bikini time, certain shirts, special occasions). Nair is a good product for this area.

the hairs only look thicker because you cut them and they grow with the thicker part as the tip. and yes, regrowth is itchy! i hate regrowth. i just wait til it's time to get a wax then have that waxed
