eih i think ask him situational questions because it will show how will he handle unexpected situations or deal with people..ask him what will he do when he realized that he left his wallet and your having dinner together..

Oh, you know what one of the best ways to find out things about someone you already know is? My ex and I used to play this game when we were out on dates where we'd pretend we had never met before. It'd always start with something silly like, "Hi, want to play pool?" or "Can I buy you a drink?" When you do role-playing, you and your partner both feel more comfortable asking and responding to questions where you, as yourself, may hold back. So, maybe, as "Stephanie" or "Tiffany" or whatever your alter ego may go by, try it out -- and I think you'll get to the nitty-gritty!

Does he have a girlfriend? or a wife?
any kids that he may not know about?
Any psycho exes YOU need to be aware of or should know about?
What does he want to do in 5 years? not technically with you, but with his life.

hobbies, best movie, music, his break up with his last GF, his ambition or something he wants to do in his life, many many questions...how can you be lost as to what to ask?????

duh- try asking questions that U really want to know about him, after all it's your relationship, not ours, I now what I want to know about a person, why don't U? we don't want to know him U do.
Try asking him" what he would like U to know about him"
If he plays fair, U will be able to see his true character and intentions--see I can be helpful
