Its not good fairpak going bust and fat cats lining there pockets but it shows how reliant we have all become on presents and money to make christmas good.
Get your family around tell em to bring a bottle and a small gift and then all have a drink and pass what gifts you can before singing a song and making christmas a what it should be about. Fun , love and rejoice over being together.

Well when I saw this on the news the other day, to no supprise the people who were interviewed were the less fortunate people who looked like council house dwelers, Chaves an Low lives! Now the point being is that not 1 inteligent lookin person or normal person was interviewed so I believe that is saying something, if u are stupid enough to even consider a program like this then in my eyes u deserve to loose all ya money! Why not next year put £10 away a week in a sock and do it in an old fashioned way! Hampers yer cool

I know its a good way to make sure you have all you need at christmas, without paying it all at once, I dont feel these hampers etc are good value. You seem to pay over the odds, and there is always things in them that I wouldnt use. About 2 years ago, I started saving at asda. You get a card that you can put money on, and spend it when you like. Usually I put a few quid on each time I do the weekly shop, so I dont really miss it, but christmas and emergencies are sorted.

I have to agree with tucksie. Why not put the money that you give to the hamper company into a bank or building society account, and then spend it at Christmas, with any accrued interest, in the stores that have the best prices for the goods you require.
Hamper companies are for chavs and pikeys anyway.

there is not any desire of having your money back, sorry. This surpassed off to me a pair of years in the past while a great electric corporation went into liquidation. thankfully I in ordinary terms lost £a hundred and that i never did get it back.(i develop into advised to place a declare in with the liquidator which I did yet no longer something ever got here of it) It surpassed off only formerly a Christmas time and others lost an excellent form of money for desktops (for their young toddlers for Christmas) which that they were procuring. it somewhat is a shame and that i'm somewhat sorry you the two have lost plenty.

it's a gteat way to save if you are short of money. As the company has now gone bust maybe handing over money before yo recieve goods is not a good idea

I really don't know why people still use any hamper company, they are far more expensive than if the goods were bought in a store and contain items you don't want and will never use.

many people who cannot afford Christmas or get a credit card to use at Christmas use savings clubs like Farepack.

it is strange that these companies still exist,
most supermarkets have a savings scheme of some kind.
have better prices and you can buy what you need.
