What is the procedure for broad band connectivity on Laptop using any land line?

1.steps using ADSL modem through ethernet cable.2.Steps using wireless connectivity 3. steps using USB connectivity.4.Steps using builtin modem of laptop.(whether Sony Vaio VJ series built in with modem for broadband for dial up)
Please give steps if any network engineer very fluent in operation.

You need first a land line connection

2. Need a ADSL splitter

3. ADSL Modem

4. Connect using Ethernet or USB as per your preference.

5. Configure you laptop (Ask your service provider for configuration setup)

6. Start using

Wi Fi won't give you BB connectivity but will provide you upto 110 kbps max , for Wi Fi access you need Wifi Card.
