Well, Osama is hiding in Pakistan , ISI is protecting him.
America could get him if they have the desire to apprehend him.

Bush mafia in the White House willingly helped Osama to get away on many occasions in the past .During the Afghan war Osama and his minions were cornered in Tora Bora caves.An assault by a unit of US Marine corps to capture him was called off .
Subsequently ISI with American connivance mounted a massive exfiltration operation.So many Al Qaeda militants were airlifted to
Pakistan.There is more to this. I cannot elaborate further,for that is beyond the scope of this endeavour

In short, America's War on Terror is a sham.
