I had a great first date with this guy. It went really well, we talked for hours and he kissed me good night at the end. He called me that night to say that he had a good time and that he owed me dinner. I emailed him the next morning just to say hi and whatz up, he emailed me back to say hey and called me that night. I sort of mentioned to him that I wanted to see a movie and he said "I'd love to see that with you sometime". So I suggested this weekend and he said he needed to make sure something first with his supervisor and he said he'd call me back. But anyway, that was sunday. So, he just called me again just now and we had a nice conversation over the phone. We did talk about our 2nd date but nothing is set on the stone yet. Why did he do thiS? I mean, clearly we both wanted to go out and he kept saying "I wanted to see you this weekend" but he didn't want to really set the date on the stone (like what time, where and such). Is he messing with me? What do y'all think?

Oh yeah ... btw
On the phone, he was telling me what kind of stuff he cooks ... and I was just messing with him and I said "well, since you're such a good cook, maybe you should cook for me sometime". There was that silence for a while and then he said "ha, maybe I will .. we'll see". It was pretty weird, so I said "just kidding" ya' know to save the conversation. I don't want him to think that I want to be his gf or committed or whatever ... because I don't, I just want something casual. But, I may have given him the wrong impression by saying that ... dunno ... gosh, I really like him but not ready for a serious relationship myself. What do y'all think?

sometimes your heart talks instead of your mind --- maybe you do want more ---but dont read anything other than it looks --- call it a date a time to get to know each other --- have fun and see what happens
