Makes me curious. I've always wondered why you think god is so awesome that every moment of your eternal existence you'd love to be a slave to his, worshipping him without end? What kind of existence is that? I want flavor in my life and if I have to go to hell and burn in eternal hell fire when I'm cast into the "lake of fire", so be it. This is the choice I've made, enlighten us to how you've come to your decision.

Gee,,, Again Hell fire is a false teaching in the bible,,,,, more careful study of that term you would see hell is the grave....
Don't make sense that there would be a first death and a second death both are burning in a hell fire.... The lake of fire is symbolic for a persons destruction. You won't be alive burning and suffering, you don't exist!!!!

This time that we are going through is proving God right to rule over his creation. He is allowing people and Satan to try every form of government or ruler-ship. Since Adam and Eve choose to make their own choices of right and wrong, as you are also, Those that want God to rule over them are proving that Christians can be obedient and not worship God for selfish reasons. That it in a nutshell. Since the bible has been accurate in its writings regarding history, science, health, and prophecy, It promises a much better life for everyone. REV 21:4......

better to rule in hell than serve in heaven ? God is awesome and He does not make us slaves to worship-- He gave us free will-- now He did set down some rules ( the 10 commandments ) ... which is not so much for His benefit-- but yours--- if u break a physical law--- for example gravity.. you will pay a price--jump from a plane w/o a chute..u know what will happen... if u break spiritual laws.. like thou shall not steal... you will also probably pay a price ... His laws are really for our protection... as far as burning in hell-- dont flatter yourself... your friend Dante helped build that scenario--- hell is non existance-- even the very memory of you is wiped away-- my Father has no desire to torture you...what the hell could you do in 70 years to deserve that kind of punishment ( maybe with a few exceptions like popat or stalin or hitler) ...?? many would tell you that we all go to heaven and sit around and just worship God for eternity... that would get pretty boring.. God has so much more for us and i can even tell you what it might be-- you watch tv --see the news-- about space and such-- how all the other planets appear to be lifeless and dead ?? they are...now imagine yourself with self inherent life and the ability to create and your Father telling you --take this planet and fix it.. and you would have that power-- no consider how long it might take to "fix" the whole universe--- forever --- duh yes!! i am not trying to convert you-- as i said God gave you your fee will to make a choice-- and believe it or not--just because you havent chosen Him--doesnt mean He hasnt chosen you ( when the time comes) .. so i say to you live as you wish... make your choice-- God gave you that as a gift --and good luck with it

If that is the choice you've made, okay. I'm not going to ramble off things to try and change your mind.
But you asked me to enlighten you so here's why.
You don't know what life after death is or what it is going to be like. None of us really do unless one has caught a glimpse while having a "near death" experience. So why presume that there will or won't be one? Yes, make the best of life now, but history has shown that animalistic hedonism leads to one's own downfall. And Theists aren't slaves, but rather the children of a God who lovingly gives us the choice whether or not to be with Him in paradise. Hence the obedience. With every hardship and discipline comes refinement and wisdom. If we are warned of repercussions of something, we tend to avoid it, while others who want to "live it up" usually pay for it in the even when they're still living. So you do what you want, but I proudly declare that Jesus is Lord.

our life here on earth is a lot shorter than the eternity in hell would be. I guarentee you you will regret your decision to be sinful now, when you are experienceing the eternal torture in hell.
I would rather be a slave to a God that loves, me and find eternal happiness in heaven. Why would anyone choose hell or heaven, why would anyone choose to be eternally tortured over eternal paradise? Huh? That makes no sense to me.

Besides that I don't think God considers us slaves, he looks upon us as his children. What is wrong with that?

If you have yet to know the joys of worshipping God on earth, and as such have yet to experience the blessings heaped upon your life when you consistently seek a relationship with God, of course you would think that eternal worship of God would be awful.

The secret is that serving God brings liberation. Nobody gets to know this until they begin seeking God's will and serving him. Until then, it is all conjecture...and naturally people project their dim view of what service to a master means.

You are looking through worldly eyes at an image of a god that is false and impotent.

You want flavor in your life, but you don't understand at this point that everything you grasp at, hang onto, touch, taste, feel, see, and so forth, will satisfy you as much as unnoticeable vapor satisfies. It still seems plausible to you that only enough, or more, or a little of this other thing, or some of that other thing, is going to do the trick.

When you realize--if you are fortunate to get to that point--that all things in this world bring you only emptiness, then you will seek God. That is, when you have finished "tasting," and have come to learn that all the flavors are bland and disappear on the tongue, then you will have been given the potential to seek the great gift, which is the giver of all that is good and all that is eternal.

What is of God never fails to satisfy. Never vanishes. Leaves its certain mark in the soul, which fortifies, strengthens, and enlightens you.

'Til then, it is all self-serving crud that leaves people empty-handed and brokenhearted.

yeah this world is just so satisfying, the parties and the women. I love the darkness and following a bunch of people who are just if not more miserable than me. I would rather live an existence of why any day than have a life of purpose. I would rather live a life of worry, heart ache, and broken dreams any day rather than a life of security, hope, and fulfillment.
Go ahead and report, please, I will not stop telling the truth.
I love being a soldier of God, every thing is just so simple, see enemy, take him out.

Being a slave of God doesn't mean you can't enjoy this life. God has prescribed certain limits and all of them make sense. Everything he forbade makes sense. He forbade sex out of marraige, those who do it are slave of their desires. Don't you think about being a slave of your own desires.

Its far better to be a slave of God rather than being a slave of one's own desires.

Moreover, God has created legitimate means to give vent to one's desires.

If you ponder, you will know what I am saying.

Although I don't subscribe to any one, single religious belief (I think most religions....if not all...are man made) I personally don't think it is so much about being a "slave" to one's god...I feel many find comfort in their religious beliefs...so be it. Because no one REALLY knows 100% what there is after death, many find comfort in believing that there is something better to aspire to in the 'after-life' as our world is so seemingly chaotic...and there is suffering in everyone's life. Religion can be seen as a set of rules or laws that keep people in line....like our non-secular laws....it brings about a sense of order to society...and to our lives. It's all about hoping that there is something better.

I would say they used Hell to control the populous in those times which was ruled by a theocracy leader.

The Pope during the dark/medieval age could easily control the European Kingdoms with the threat of excommunication.

The idea stuck and now they're living the ideas of the past.
