Pocket Monster!

In Japanese, it is written as: ポケトモンスタ , which would be written in English as Poketomonsuta.

This is difficult for the Japanese kids to read, write, and pronounce. So it was shortened to the word Pokemon.

In Japanese, this is written: ポケモン .

You spelled it wrong, it is Pokemon, and it is pocketmonster....yeah I don't care either, I just knew that.
