I just met this decent guy who I've seen for a few weeks in groups.. Anyways - I was wondering what kind of things we could do - I haven't gone out on a date in like three years, so I'm kinda "new" at the dating thing again I guess..
What are some fun ideas? Places to go? etc..
Tips?

* NOT interested in SEX on the first date. No way. I'm not in it for that - he seems like a great guy.

First dates should be casual and let you get to know each other, good idea avoiding the movies. Try: Hiking Indoor rock climbing Ride bikes around and then stop for lunch Picnic Pick-your-own fruit farm (I think apples in season) If you have a dog take him out and have fun together Watch an unusual sport like rugby, lacrosse, or water polo - you can talk cuz it won't be crowded and you can teach her the rules More good ones at hot date ideas

Well it's always a good idea to find common ground. Do you like to bowl? Does he? Glow bowls are always fun b/c the lights are out, there are black lights and good boogey music playing.
Movies are okay, but it's hard for a guy and a girl to decide on a common interest sometimes as far as movies go.
Dinners are good, but I would suggest doing your fun activity before eating, as people tend to get tired or sleepy after a meal, and can drag the evening down.
If you are dancers, by all means go out to a club and cut a rug...that is always fun when it is a common interest, and is a little more intimate than the run-of-the-mill dinner and a movie date.
Anyway, hope that helps....good luck and have fun!

Enjoy the beauty around you and the laughter of people Well go to a shooting range or target shooting range and have some fun. Do you have guns? If not go on a walk in the country or park and have a light lunch packed. Walking is good!! It keeps the both of you busy and not so much closeness. Go rent some horses! Do you have an open cafe to drink coffee?

JUST GO TO THE MOVIES... THEN GO ON A WALK-ABOUT TOWN. A FIRST DATE SHOULD BE THE TIME THAT YOU DECIDE IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON AND IF THE FRIENDSHIP IS WORTH TAKING TO ANOTHER LEVEL.... YOU COULD FIND OUT MORE BY DOING LESS ON A FIRST DATE THAN DOING, "MORE", AND THEN FINDING OUT THAT IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME OR HOPE. LOL

Go skydiving. When you finally hit the ground you will be so happy to be alive that you will have that bond of that life/death experience and will appreciate each other.
