I think that the companies want to treat symptoms temporarily. That's where their income is. I believe that the whole Martha Stewart thing was because the development the drug she invested in would have cured certain cancers, or at least brought about such a rapid improvement, that it was stopped.
Imclone was ultimately bought out and buried, never to see the light of day, although it was doing very well in the testing stage.

You are right man, they never really want to find a cure, it's all bull... you know.If read the history on modern medical institution which started by Rockefeller and Carnegie Foundation in early 1900s, which based its philosophy on Drug Therapy, you surely understood why. Zillions been spend and more to come for treatment of deseases,but more and more Uncurerable infact super Bugs (antibiotic immune) are now created . What CURE????

Yes they are trying to find the best ways possible to cure diseases. They have to do experiments on either people that want to take a chance to see if the new medicine will work or use it on animals which I disagree with.

I dont think the companies do but I really beleive some of the ppl that work for them do... there are cures for a lot of sicknesses and diseases, but very few ppl know about them... like did you know that putting liquid Vicks on toe nail fungus is a cure ?? God bless
