Well hopefully maybe something. And note this is an "atheist" talking... I don't believe in deities and I can't say that I fully believe in an "afterlife," but sure a continued existence would be nice. Most any of us could probably say that. IMO though, if there is anything then it's not at all related to deities, religion, etc, and very much still connected to this world. Maybe, as you say, like another reality or dimension.

Wow you are tryin' to get deep on Yahoo questions.... Beyond life how could we ever really know. If you go to church you would say god, if you are a scientist you'd probably say a pine box and dirt, I say who knows go where your heart and soul takes you. As far as another reality, a long time ago when I was young and dumb, I smoked a little sumthin' sumthin' and I got this idea that we are somthing elses dream. Like we aren't really real we are what some other entity out there wants us to be. Wierd huh?

Well according to the bible, there are three groups of People,
1. Great Crowd
2. Little Flock
3. Other sheep

Basically The little flock are Christians/or persons that whom God has chosen (bought) out of the world. They have a purpose to live and rule in heaven. the bible refers 144,000.

According to the bible after Armageddon, eventually there will be a resurrection of righteous and unrighteous persons. Again according to the bible those that have died they will live again.

Jesus answers this in John 5:28,29: Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

Regarding the condition of the dead, the Bible says at Ecclesiastes 9:5: For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.

Death is a deep sleep - and those who are dead await a resurrection back to life at the time of Judgement.

Though unfortunately no one will ever know until their day comes I like to believe that we are reborn and we go to a place of our choosing until such time. Christians believe that there is a place called heaven and that there you have no pain and plenty of happiness. Though some will say that earth is he** I say that to me this is heaven we have just damaged it. But whatever we believe we all agree that there is a place with eternal happiness eventually.

Haven't felt it, this world is so fake. I feel like a foreigner away from his home in this world. Every thing we have built is just so funny, we have gone no where really, I mean yeah technology but people are still the same.
