Anywhere.
Get on a plane, or a boat, or a motorcycle, and Go! Get your passport ready, keep a backpack for sandwiches, drinking water, camera, and dictionaries (and one change of undies just in case), and then go.
Throw darts at a map!
Count your money, look up the addresses of youth hostels or go where it's warm and sleep on a beach! (I've done that in California, Tahiti, Okinawa, Hawaii, and the in the Philippines).
Take your significant other, or hook up with one along the way, but Go looking!
Tata, I am heading for China and Japan and Arizona over the long Holidays!

Take a trip to Chiangmai in Northern Thailand. You can be at one with nature in one of the mountain or forest resorts. Go elephant trekking and river rafting. Visit and stay with the hilltribes. Go eco-trekking too.
There are different things to do each day if you want.

Depends on your purpose. If you wanna see snow, go to Alaska (hehehe); Beaches and the sun, Asia; the great outdoor, Europe; overpopulation, china; nuclear weapons, Iraq and North Korea. Just to name a few. Happy Trip!

You can try your own backyard! You will be surprised what you can discover all around you when your head is not stuck in the clouds. Visit your local library and get some nice books--they will take you far away. Or play some Halo.

it depends on what you prefer, tropical countries (laid back, see some different islands, cultural heritage, friendly people) research on what particular place so you can see all of them in just one place ;-) i'm recommending my country, the philippines, great beaches, nice countryside and friendly people ;-)
