It means the problems in life are only temporary. Suicide is permanent you can't go back and change it if your dead.

All Problems are temporary. No matter how hopeless life can seem, there are always methods we can use to improve it. All my life I have been depressed. I didn't know what joy was because i seldom felt even happy. I figured that the rest of my life would be the same old stuff so what was the point of living. If I had killed myself, it would have been permanent. Instead I got therapy and eventually medication. I see life in a much better, happier way. The original problem of it always being the same was totally gone.

Another temporary problem I have is COPD, a disease that cannot be cured and will eventually kill me. The disease is real and permanent; the solution to the problem is to live every day one day at a time and stop worrying about dying. When I do that I have a good QUALITY of life and not just existing.

I hope I didn't complicate this too badly. If I did, someone else will make better4 sense than I have. Good Luck, and have a good life.

I think they mean that some problems get better. I find it amusing that you would consider life a temporary problem though. My life is a problem that doesn't seem to want to go away, no matter what I do.

Also, for the Bible bit on suicide being the only unforgiveable sin, If you believe in Jesus you better not plan on seeing him in Heaven. Allowing himself to be nailed to a cross with prior knowledge of the plan and putting himself through mortal danger by being a religious liberal (yes, Jesus was a liberal) was definitely an act of suicide. Whether it was done for love and the ultimate sacrifice, it was a sacrifice nonetheless. Jesus committed suicide.

problems are temporary dear heart. And suicide cannot be temporary because one ends his life only once. When you think about it, all that make sense doesn't it ?. I know some people who committed suicide and thay had so much to live for! Their temporary problem became overwhelming and after several tries they did the irreversible act. If you think for a moment that nothing is worth ending a life for, Not even the life of an animal. So the most precious gift being life, would it make sense to waste it in a moment of despair?... A moment is very short comparing to the rest of one's life with all the happy moments that are just there waiting to be chosen to happen in everyone's life! It's a choice dear heart! I know some who did and some who did not succeed, and my heart goes to anyone who may have such thoughts.

Problems are temporary. If everybody committed suicide every time they got a little kink in their lives, we wouldn't have to worry about world over-population anymore, would we? All problems can be worked out. The solution may not be exactly the one we were looking for but things always get resolved in some way or other. When you kill yourself, that's it. No going back and saying 'Ooops, I changed my mind'. It is also the only unforgivable sin. Christians believe that if you believe in Christ and ask forgiveness for your sins, you will be forgiven. You can't ask for forgiveness if you are dead. Asking before you kill yourself don't count.

Because most problems are only temporary or not severe enough to warrant totally ending your life for. Probably the number one reason people think of commiting suicide is over a lost love. Most people know that one can be blessed with more than one love in their life, so ending one's life over this temporary problem is such a waste.

People who have almost killed themself literally---never knew 1 month or even a few days down the line they would be so happy again...ie laughter a few days later....meeting new people....starting new relationships. Things get better...when your at rock bottom hang in there because you can only go up from there...this is why they describe the problem as temporary.

The devil wants you to believe on verge of suicide or ideation that "I am always going to be this depressed, miserable ect...so I might as well end it now."

He is the Liar of all Liars...the state of misery is temporary any way you look at it in any condition...the only way to work at eternal torment is to kill yourself.

this applies in many cases. For instance when I was in 11th grade a girl 1 year younger than me tried to kill herself because her boyfriend broke up with her. At the time she was heart-broken and thought she wanted to die. Today she is a happily married mother of 2. What if she had died? Her problem was temporary.

It means exactly as said. Some people have had so much trauma in their lives and held it all in then another and another so on an so fourth that eventually when something else occurs they can't take it anymore and they believe to retrieve any sort of happiness that suicide becomes their only hope. NO MATTER IF THE PROBLEM SEEMS LIKE NOTHING TO OTHERS! There is only so much one can take.

True. When you do not exist, the problem of yours do not exist too. No sooner you are dead and gone, the problem also goes with you from this material world and no more in this world for you. But, spiritual, it will still remain with you.

All of your questions has a spiritual dimension, and shall try to answer you with reference to the existence in this world and some connection to inner self.

Life is temporary as you are not the form of body you have been born with, but you are a spirit soul and a part of the maker and controller of this whole universe and all the universe that exists ( you may not be aware of it for now), whom we all know as GOD.

You decided to come down to earth from God's home, to enjoy this material world which was so appealing to you. Therefore, you are here. You are destined to go back home, the home of God. But, you will come back again and again in this world ( born again and again in various forms of living creatures), depending on what you do in this life with your body and how you wish to exit from this world.

Again, life is temporary, because you will be born again and again in this world till you fill satisfied here to go back to Godhead.

Problems are temporary too in this life, It seems so painful and unbearable to you that probably you wish to end your life ( I am not sure of that). Do not think the current situation as a problem, but look at it as a challange, and face it slowly and surely. You will see the light of the day very soon. There is a beautiful and good times waiting to happpen for you very soon. This is a phase which you need to face for now. God is testing you to check with you do you deserve the most beautiful gift of God that he has for you in this earth. Face it, to receive that soon. So, problems are temporary too in that respect.
