I thought females invented those games, we guys are just trying to play too. Although most of us don't know the rules.

As most of my oh-so-helpful (Re: speakers the obvious) guy-friends have told me. Girls invented mind games so guys try to play without knowing the rules. But part of it is the innate need of males to storm the castle. They live of the chase or at least part of them does. And if a guy runs after you start to show interest he was obviously only in it for the chase not having much emotional interest in the first place. A guy that really likes you would relish the fact that you show him extra attention, but you also have to be careful that the "little extra attention" isn't calling him every day or all of a sudden calling him your best friend or acting super jealous if he speaks to another girl (a little jealous is okay but going over board makes you seem like a nut.).

It's a frustrating truth that if you pursue someone they will run away. The more diligently you pursue them, the faster they will run! It is the instinct of the chase. Just try to exercise as much restraint as possible. It's counterintuitive but if you leave them alone they will come to you if they're interested. I mean not compeltely alone, you have to be around and available, but not actually pursue them-- which is kind of tricky but the only way to go. Stay in touch and stay friendly (i.e., flirty) but also be patient and get some stuff done while you can. when he finally gathers his slow brains and decides to ask you out, you will suddenly have less time on your hands!

All guys love a challenge, and let's face it, we girls like to play a little hard to get. When you are tired of playing the game, you are ready for a lifetime commitment. If you haven't found the right guy yet, you have to play the game a while longer until you find a guy that has all the qualities you want in a lifetime partner, it's called dating...You've got to date before you can settle down and stop playing the game. We women all want to date guys that can keep us on our toes, but we want to marry men that are dependable and reliable. Even after you marry, you have to play a different game, it's called keeping things exciting...Life is full of games, they don't call it the game of life for nothing.

I don't know why it happens. But it definitely does. It happens every time. I gues the only thing you can do is keep an edge and hold back a little to keep him trying to swoon you. Have fun with it.

well i is fun to chase a little cuse it makes us feel like we've won something, or at least won her over a little. but, at the same time it's most likely mixed signals. and, notice something, why werent you interested in him? he's given up hope! would you try to fight a man twice your size? no, neither would a man woo a woman twice his ego.

It's not just guys, its girls too. I was not interested in this girl and she was like always flirting with me and trying to make me like her. But after a year, I kinda like her but she doesn't like me anymore because I show some interest...so retarded.

After all they're guys, they can't understand us and sometimes we dont understand them. Maybe they're just playing hard to get, but more they plays that game the more chances they'll lose us anyways.
Or they're shy?

If you are sick of playing games, then stop. It isn't the guys. It is you.
