What should I do in terms of finding a place, job, etc.?

My first suggestion would be the thickest warmest coat that is lined with down and mittens and a good warm hat! You have no idea how cold that place gets in the winter months! I'm a native of New Jersey and now reside in California. I could never ever go back to that cold like that! Also New York is very expensive to live so be prepared to pay at least one thousand two hundred dollars for a small studio and that's if you are lucky. Jobs are abundant so I wouldn't worry about that. I was always lucky to find jobs everywhere in that area.

search the web for a place to live and a job......but be prepared for snow and cold weather...thats a must

my suggestion is dont do it. i stay in long island properly westren long island and not something is low fee the guidelines are bunch of crap. yet comming from cali issues maybe extra fee-effective. in basic terms a heads up living right this is this way of extensive stress

Use craig's list to find an apt. (newyork.craigslist.com) - its the easiest place to find an apt. fast.
