This damn cat keeps jumping on my lap and staring at me. When I'm in bed, he puts his damn cat arm around me and starts purring. He's my buddy, but I'm starting to wonder if I should buy him a fertile female. His sister is spayed, and she smacks the crap out of him when he tries to .... you know. Help?

If it really bothers you have him neutered. That should help. If the cat is trying to mount his sister I doubt it's gay. It sounds like your cat just loves you. If it starts to get turned on when you are petting him and you can see his thing it's just a nateral reaction. Dogs do it too. All they know is they want to mate and it feels good. Anyway have it nuetared it's cheeper then kittens who grow up to and can be difficult to give away. I don't think they have invented birth control for cats yet but you never know. Good luck and don't drop anything on the floor if your exposed. LOL.

Yep, and gay dogs, and gay penguins, and gay just about every mammal on the planet. That is the way of God. Live and appreciate those who are different from you. Living with acceptance and without judging makes for a much broader and more interesting life. It also makes for much more peace. All together as I recall, these are the teachings of Christ. Respect, equality, and peace for all. Hmmm, amazing that so many christians forget it.

Man, Woman, Cat, Dog, Fish, etc.... It really does not matter, the only thing that does matter ( Rather who or what you are) is the love you show, and what you get in return. Just be very happy that he is showing you love, out there right now someone one ( LIKE A CHILD) knows nother about love because they have never been shown love of any kind. Just a thought...............

Well of my neighbors three dogs the two males were gay, having no interest in the girl, so why not a cat.

Please get the cat neutered. There are too many unwanted kittens living in misery.
Addition:
I think most mammals and birds (penguins) that are gay live in social groups. Goats, wild horses, dogs, rabbits, mice, monkeys and all the rest. Not too sure about cats being gay since they are basically loners.

You assume your cat is gay because it loves you and wants to be near you? And the girl cat beating him up is normal - she's not in heat, and he's bugging her. It's not that he doesn't wanna.... you know, but he needs a girl cat who wants to.....you know. So yeah. Get him a girl friend.

Cats use sex only to mate, not for pleasure. Does he hump inanimate objects such as stuffed animals, too?
If he were "gay", how would he be able to determine the gender of what he was humping?
How do you know he knows you're a male?
And if he was gay, why would he be humping his SISTER?
