Most doctors say if you have a bacterial infection, and you're on antibiotics, you're no longer considered contagious, after you've been on your antibiotic for a full 48 hours. It usually takes the antibiotic about that long to reach a good level in your system where it is fighting the infection to a point where you're no longer considered "infectious." Of course, you need to take all the proper precautions anyway, like good hand washing techniques, covering your mouth with a Kleenex when coughing or sneezing, etc. Make sure you're getting lots of rest and drinking lots of fluids as well. If you still have a fever and aren't feeling better, that could indicate you might have a viral infection and those aren't treatable by antibiotics. If that is the case, you still might be contagious. With viral infections, only the symptoms are treatable. Meaning, if you have a fever, you treat that with fever reducers (ie: Tylenol or Motrin). If you have a cough, you treat with a cough suppressant, etc. Hopefully your doctor is right on regarding the diagnosis, and it is a bacterial infection, and you'll be feeling much better in a couple of days, and will be ready to give your presentation and no longer contagious! :-) Good luck!!

Usually you are contagious until 24-48 hours of being on antibiotics. Buy some of those wipes that are called lysol antibacteria fighter it's a yellow round bottle thing about 6 invhes tall and use it on anything you touch also get hand sanitizer gel and use it often.

Were you given antibiotics? Are you sure it's bacterial and not viral?
A bacterial infection is usually less infectious than a viral one, but it's still best not to cough into the air or your hand - cough into the crook of your elbow. Then you don't get the germs on your hand and spread them to everything you touch.

They say 48 hours after beginning an antibiotic. If you aren't on an antibiotic, then you are contagious as long as you have the illnesses.

You should be fine after taking your medication for 24 hours. If you do not have a fever, you should not be contagious, but no guarantees.

Hi there
Eat raw garlic (most powerful herb on earth, kills all viruses) and eat raw parsley afterward to help with the breath. Garlic is not easy to eat, but stuff Kalamata Olives with fresh garlic. This really cuts the heat of the garlic.
Best of health to you
Cheers
