Yes, all three religions originated from the same God. I often wonder the same thing. All I can say is that the devil wants it that way, and that is what it says in all the three religions. That these differences will exhist until the day of judgement. The only power we have is to not be hateful as individuals, and not judge all of one group based on the actions of a few. Peace.

Christians and Jews have the same roots in their religion but not Islam. If Jews do hate the Muslims ( I don't think that is true) they have a right to as the Muslims want to kill all the Jews in Israel. As a Christian, I don't hate anyone because they have a different religion than I do.

Jesus told us in the scriptures that we are to love our enemies but I personally have a hard time doing that when they are trying to kill me.

Yes, I know that all Muslims do not believe what it says in the Koran and they are peaceful people. I wish they would speak up more against the ones that believe that Islam should be spread by the sword.

Ironically, The Muslims and the Christians come from the same ancestors.
ok, first there was Abraham who was the father of all nations.
He had two sons. The first was Ishmael who was the ancestors of the Muslims and the Islamic belief. The other son was Isaac, he was the ancestor of the Jewish peoples and the Christians.
Ishmael's great... great... grand son was Muhammad who was the first Islamic prophet. Jesus on the other hand who's mom Mary, was the decendant from Isaac. Jesus unlike Muhammad is a divine prophet because he is the Son of God. so basically Allah and the Lord of the Hebrews and Christians are the same one but Allah doen't mean God in Arabic.
This is a reason that we should be family! not to fight!
So when the rapture comes, all the believers in the Lord of the Hebrews and Chistians will imediatly go to heaven leaving the rest of the world such as The Muslims and other far Eastern religions to face the battle of Armageddon against Jesus. Jesus will surely win and the Anti-Christ will perish forever.
Interesting huh?

Because they also have quite a few differences. Jews don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and the Muslims believe that Mohammed is the Messiah.

They all celebrate different holidays.

I am a Christian, and I have no hate towards Muslims or the Jews.

the_tent_...,
There might be hate on my part because the Muslims do not attempt to control their radical factions.

The rest is dissagreement on scriptural issues, of which hate is not a part of it until they begin to use it to justify terrorists, of which I have proof of.

So then, "the same religious roots" is an inaccuracy. It is fatal to the conversations that we have. We do not have the same roots if they think that it's okay to attacking Israel. The Bible does not okay the attacking of Israel. And to get them to (Yourself included) not be accusative when it comes to Zionism, well, you have to deal with that. The prophets said that those that attack Israel will be killed en masse the day that they break through their defenses. Yes, that's right, God will return, that's Jesus Christ, to kill all those who come against Israel.

Getting the picture now?

Whenever an extremist gets into the mix, nothing makes sense.
As a Christian I don't hate other people for their religion. I might not understand, but I DON'T hate them. If all people followed their religion there would't be any hate. Even Athiests, which is a belief, wouldn't go around hating.

If more people would quit arguing, and using excuses, most of the world's problems would go away.

And let's not forget that Sin, or whatever you call it has alot to do with the situation.

I don't think that Christians hate Jews. If they do its because they wrongly think that the Jews crucified Jesus. It was the Romans who did that albeit at the behest of the Jews. The Christian Moslem relationship is different. The Christians regard Moslems with suspicion because of their forcing people to change religion by the "sword" and with their acts of terrorism. The Moslems regard the Christians as "kaffirs" (non believers) and dislike the christian morals. Moslems think that Christian women are women of easy virtue and that all men look at women with lust and that is why their women wear burkhas etc.. Wars have been fought because of religion which is a shame as God has taught, in every religion, to love thy neighbour but you will get fanatics that cannot see beyond the blinkers that cover their eyes.

Hate is a harsh word but disagreements is preferred choice. Christians worship Jesus. Muslims and Jews DON'T.

Because each wants control over its own share and to use and mentally abuse that share according to their will by pretending it is to be God's will.
Come the day of reckoning when all will be judged I think the Holy Scriptures will be proved right.
Thou shall not have any other God than me.

These days any two bit pretender can claim the pulpit or floor or whatever else is used to rouse the sheep.
Sheep because in spite of the facts, we follow because it is politicised to suit our need.
Religion is God dressed up in whatever garb the Sect requires for control.
Christ said, 'Where two people pray in my name there is the Temple.'
Believe it and shun hypocrisy.

Because the first line of the Ten Commandments should have been the Golden Rule. Unfortunately, it wasn't so everybody thinks that there is only there God and that he put them on this Earth to straighten out everybody else.

Sad, but true ...
