You will need an antivirus, an antispyware, and a firewall and a free registry cleaner on your pc. In case you do not have, here is a suggestion.
AVG free antivirus,AVG free antispyware,.

Zonealarm free firewall

Free RegScrubXP registry cleaner

If you are able to use your pc. Download, install the above programs. And run them to detect any troublemaking software and to remove it.

That sounds like a virus. Run you anti spyware software and make sure that it is updated. If you have one running it may have tried to clean it already and left some files behind. When you restarted, the EXE that was running undetected before had trouble starting with some of its files missing. SpySweeper by Webroot is not bad and BitDefender is also good. Start with http://www.webroot.com/ I believe they offer a free trial. In the meantime it will help you at least clean your system. Also, do a search for that file on your computer... You may need to clean your registry. Do not attempt to clean your registry on your own though unless you know what you are doing. A lot of anti virus programs will catch that stuff for you and some pick up more than others. Just make sure it's updated. It's a pain but I bet you have a ton of stuff on there that shouldn't be. Your system will be faster after. :)
