Female robins choose a mate by seeing how well he builds a nest - in other words, they only mate with the guy if he is responsible enough to provide a good home for his wife and family. Female humans sleep with guys who are irresponsible and unable to care for themselves or a family and then have a baby, complain that the guy doesn't support them, or they support themselves, the child and the guy, and complain that they have to do everything. When did equal rights become "women have to do everything?" We need to learn from the robins. Two parents to every home should be the goal, not the exception - one to build the nest, the other to care for it, whether it's the man or the woman in each role.

Not all women are like this. I think only desperate men/women go after someone who is not responsible just so they can have someone, anyone in their lives.
Some women know exactly what they are looking for and will do anything to ensure they get it. There are a lot of self sufficient and responsible men out there, its just a matter of finding them and not settling for losers.

good ideal .... but marriages do work when there are two ppl building the nest and both are caring for it. Most families have two working parents because they need to not cause they want to........ oh to be back in the days of our grandparents where comunities cared and helped each other but the fact is that if you want something for your children then most of the time both parents have to work. The problem today is not instilling in our children respect for others and there propery, defending our children when they have done wrong no matter what....... this is not love its stupidity and done mostly because we dont take time with our kids and feel guilt. Teach kids right from wrong and if they do wrong then stand up and make them stand up and say yes i did that and I will make amends......... at least they will grow into responsible adults........ most men that done work feel a lack of the future.. they dont think that it can be better so they give up....... lets not pass that on to our children .. there is a future out there but everyone has to want to make that future a good place for our kids to be

Can't argue with good sense...I agree. I think all children would thrive and have a better success rate with two loving parents on their side. After all, children get very different things from a mother and father. Like birds, they are bound to fly higher with the support, and love of both of their parents

What it really should be is BOTH to build the nest, and BOTH to care for it. Then you can be together always! As for humanity's sense...yeah, we're just plain stupid and need to catch up to those robins.
