Jesus Christ Bled in the garden from every pore, Why can't a man see God?
I am assuming you are talking about the 180 lost manuscripts, What happened was Martin Harris's(Joseph's Scribe at the time) Wife wanted to know for sure that this book he was working so long and hard on was true. he let her, his family and his in-laws see them. Mrs. Harris had some friends over and couldn't stand but show them, so her friends finally guilted her into letting them read them over the week. Martin came home to get the Manuscripts and bring them back to Joseph but they where gone he talked to his wife, and she finally confessed to letting the manuscripts go. Martin talked to Joseph who prayed and was told that the manuscripts where already changed and if Joseph tried to translated again it would match the original but not the altered ones. Those where ridiculous charges and back then court was far from perfect and democracy was well corrupted.
I believe it fully, I feel a peace about me when I pray about it, don't get me wrong I have doubted my faith before, but my life seemed to just get worse in those times, heck for awhile I was "Cut off" from the spirit, that was the worst time of my life. I'm so thankful for the gospel, and to know that God cares about and loves me, well that just brings so much peace to my soul.

They don't know the truth about a number of things you know and they dont understand that the evidence that Joseph Smith disobeyed God's command not to join another church is in a LEGAL document. The mormons contend that this is fabricated to slur Smith. What rubbish. If people did as they contend, they would be guilty of fraud, perjury and other crimes by doing that.
They also don't know about James MacPherson and how closely James MacPherson and the Ossian Chronicles parallel's Smith's story, but it took place about 100 years before in Scotland.

Hi - I don't know that much about Joseph Smith but before you talk about "two different versions" of some writings as a bad thing check out:
a. The two different versions of Genesis in the Bible.
b. The two different versions of the Ten Commandments in the Bible.
c. The four different things that the sign over Jesus's head said as described in the Bible.
A

The problem is they are heavily indoctrinated and looking outside of the faith is deeply discouraged. In Christianity we allowed to investigate and ask questions. More Christians need to be more studious about the bible and about other belief systems for a few reasons. One It is good to be as factual as you can so you don't look less credible when you make mistakes. Also it's important that they know you care enough about them to get the facts straight and not be making foolish accusations. It is important to know that they are one of the fastest growing groups in the U.S. and the world. In many cases they can talk circles around Christians and even gain converts due to Christians lack of knowing God's word.

15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

It is truth to us, because the truth was shown to us through the Holy Ghost.
While you believe all those lies out there, which dished out by ex-mormon or anti mormons.
I had read many of the anti mormon writings, and investigated also, I found them to be false accusations, and are priced too high on retail, (which tells you why they wrote such books.)

here is why my friend. when one first enters the mormon religion it sounds great. they dont knwo much abou tit, all they see if happy families, lots of family time and good friendly people. they dont really learn abou tthe cooky beliefs untill they have been in so long that they can not get out without hatred from the entire community. much like a cult (imagine that) they dont learn the truth and the bad things untill they reach a certian "level" of momanism. and yes there are level that they can achieve. much like a video game.

Because he came in Jesus's name:
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

It may seem obvious to you...but to 12 million members, it is 100% true.
I KNOW, not just believe, Joseph Smith talked with God the Father and Jesus Christ. I KNOW he translated the ancient record of the plates he was led to by the prophet Moroni, thorugh the power of the Lord. I KNOW he was ridiculed, hated, beaten, tarred and feathered, falsely accused, and eventually martyred for his testimony, which he NEVER denied. He said something once about him seeing God, "I know it happened, and I know God know it happened and I cannot deny it." He was falsely accused of many crimes, none for which he was ever convicted. Someone was always trying to prove he did something wrong because they were afraid of him and what he was saying. Why on earth would God love us enough to ever have more than just the prophets in the bible days??? He loves us way more than that.
I am sure it would have been difficult back then to hear some teenage boy say "I saw God the Father and Jesus Christ and they instructed me on how to restore the true gospel to the earth and translate the plates."
This is how: (for me anyways)
I have read the Book of Mormon several times, each time the Holy Ghost witnesses to me in my mind and in my heart, that it is true, that it was truly translated by Joseph, that it contains the fulness of the gospel. Also, I have had many spiritual experiences that prove to me that what I believe is true and correct. Our Heavenly Father loves us, Christ loves us, they both want the best for us and want all of us to return to live with them and our families. They have set forth certain things we must do to be able to enter their presence again...all of which are uplifting, not restricting. Every person has and needs their own testimony. I will share some of mine with you.
I love my Heavenly Father, I love my Savior, I love Joseph Smith for all of the persecution he went through so that we may enjoy the blessings of the true gospel. I am thankful for all the prophets the Lord has chosen to lead his church in these latter days. I love President Hinckley, listening to him talk, being in his presence or even just seeing a picture of his smiling face, I KNOW that he is truly a prophet of the Lord. I love attending the temple, it is truly the Lord's house. I believe strongly in the power of prayer, fasting, paying tithing, and keeping all of God's commandments.
I challenge you to read the Book of Mormon, prayerfully, ask your Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, if it is true. I promise you you will receive an answer if you are sincere.
Am I perfect? No, but someday I can be and so can you.
