No - but I would try to stop an atheist from dating a person with an Evangelical christian mother.... She's telling my boyfriend not to marry me 'cuz the bible says "ye shall not be unevenly yoked".... I'm 34! I wanna marry the guy! And she's doing everything she can to stop it. I can't stand her!!

I'm not too sure.
I know that at my Church, dating or marrying a non-Christian is strongly discouraged, for several reasons.
Athiests may try to get the Christian to quit believing, and may cause the Christian to question his or her beliefs.
However, the Christian may take the relationship to be as a challenge from God; and think that God wants them to convert the athiest into a believer.

I would advise the atheist it may not be a good idea to marry the christian. Its hard to tell really, many different situations that would call for many different responses.
Umm.... if they were a trong athiest and the christian was a born again christian I would warn the atheist on christian doctrine and the extent of brainwashing done by the churches etc

No, I wouldn't. I'm what you might call an atheist, and I used to date a Christian. If religion was never an issue between us, why should you interfere?

It's not possible to stop someone if they have already started dating but If that christian ask me for advice about it then I will tell them to not be yoked with an unbeliever and they must judge their heart and the truth and they are held accountable for their actions.

I am an atheist married to a Jew. I won't tell anybody not to do it but I would warn them to spend a lot of time talking about it before they get married. We have been married almost 20 years and it has been great but there are more rough spots to deal with than either of us anticipated.

Certainly not, but if they were a true Christian they would not be dating an Atheist. A little thing called being "unequally yoked."

Unless the Christian in question is my child, I really have no authority to "stop" them from dating anyone... I would point out that the bible advises us not to date non-Christians... but that's all i could do....

No, but I would warn them about going much beyond the bedroom. Long term, such a relationship is generally doomed unless neither care how children are to be raised.
