the best way to make it is in a crockpot. take some pinto beans, black beans and kidney beans, (dry) and soak them like you were going to make beans. Drain off the water and rinse them very well. Add ground beef (browned) and then add onion chopped, 1 TBS fresh garlic, 2 TBS Cumin, 1 pkg of chili seasoning and let it cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until beans are soft.
PS, if you don't want the beans, then leave them out.

LOL Here's an answer that listened to yr question - no beans.
FRY a pound of hamburger meat, together with:
1 chopped onion
1 clove garlic, smashed, or a tsp of minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1 - t tablespoons chili powder - the more you use, the hotter it will be
When the meat is brown all through, add:
2 - 28 oz cans tomatos - diced is best but whole will do
1 - 6 oz can tomato paste
1/4 cup chocolate chips (no, this is not a joke, Mexicans use chocolate in chili all the time)
! - green pepper, diced
(1 - diced carrot)
(2 - diced celery stalks)
Turn heat to LOW and simmer for at least two hours. You can add a diced jalapeno with the green pepper if you like; the celery & carrots are optional, but make it go further and look more colourfu
Great with garlic bread, or tortilla chips, or topped with sour cream and grated cheddar.

My Homemade Chili
In large pot, brown;
1 pound hamburger
1 diced med. onion
1 diced green mango pepper
1 diced stalk celery
Add;
1 28 oz. can diced tomatos
1 or 2 teaspoons chili powder (to taste)
salt to taste
16 oz tomato juice OR V8 juice
1 teaspoon oregano
Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. May have to add water or more tomatoe juice to get the desired consistency. I like to add 1/2 cup macaroni to my chili, but I did not put this in the recipe as not everyone likes it.
