Revelation chapters 6 through 19 is talking about the great tribulation. It's a time that is coming upon the earth(and I think it's just around the corner) when hell on earth is going to break out. Speaking of that time Jesus said in Mathew 24:21,22---
21 "For then there will be great distress, unequalled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equalled again.
22 If those days had not been cut short, no-one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened".
God just sort of says "I offered you my way and you didn't want it, so have it your way".
The white horse is the anti-christ. The bow signifies military might. The crown signifies power to rule the world.
The red horse is the demon of war. A relative peace with pockets of war is taken and replaced with war and violence everywhere.
The black horse is the demon of economic destruction. He will bring starvation all over the world, even in the industrialized world.
The pale horse is the angel of death. Much of the world will die.
This will be a time like no other time in history. Speaking of that period in Luke 21:34-36, Jesus said:
34 "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
Start reading the bible, It's later than you think.

This is only symbolic...they represent events from our time..The first rider in the white horse is Jesus Christ who comes to judge and brings protection to his servers and destruction for those who wont support his kingdom....then the red horse represents war, that we started to see all over the world after the first world war...then the black horse is the hunger that also is affecting wide world...n last pale horse represents death which although medical advances has continue to take thousands of life so far n still doing it...so is anybody stopping these horses??...that would be the next question!

“And the heaven departed as a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and every island were removed from their places.” (Revelation 6:14) Clearly, these are not the literal heavens or the literal mountains and islands. Regarding “the heaven,” we are helped in our understanding by a similar prophecy that tells of God’s rage against all the nations. “And all those of the army of the heavens must rot away. And the heavens must be rolled up, just like a book scroll.” (Isaiah 34:4) Thus, “the heaven” that is to ‘depart as a scroll’ refers to the anti-God governments that rule over this earth. They will be removed with finality by the all-conquering Rider of the white horse. (Revelation 19:11-16, 19-21) This is confirmed by what the apostle Peter said when he looked forward to the events signified by the opening of the sixth seal: “The heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgement and of destruction of the ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:7) In Bible prophecy, mountains and islands are said to rock or be otherwise destabilised at times of great political upheaval. For example, when foretelling Jehovah’s judgements against Nineveh, the prophet Nahum wrote: “Mountains themselves have rocked because of him, and the very hills found themselves melting. And the earth will be upheaved because of his face.” (Nahum 1:5) There is no record of any breaking up of literal mountains when Nineveh actually fell in 632 B.C.E. But a world power that previously had seemed mountainlike in its strength suddenly collapsed.—Compare Jeremiah 4:24. Therefore, “every mountain and every island” as referred to at the opening of the sixth seal would logically be political governments and dependent organisations of this world that have seemed so stable to many of mankind. They will be rocked right out of place, to the consternation and horror of those who have previously trusted in them. As the prophecy goes on to relate, there will be no question that the great day of the wrath of Jehovah and his Son—the final quaking that removes all of Satan’s organisation—has come with a vengeance!

The color of the horse in each case answers to the mission of the rider.
The white horse of Christ's bloodless victories is soon followed, through man's perversion of the Gospel, by the red horse of bloodshed; but this is overruled to the clearing away of the obstacles to Christ's coming kingdom.
black--implying sadness and want.
pale--"livid" [ALFORD].
Death--personified.
Hell--Hades personified
