A preaching Christian? I'd say, "I'm not interested." Hopefully that would be enough.

If they were obnoxious or aggressive, I'd argue with them, but only if they refused to leave. Other than that, I'd try to be polite about it, at least.

Well, I would answer the door to ascertain what they wanted. If they need to use the phone because their car broke down...then no problem. If they are selling their religion, then I tell them that I'm an atheist, but that I would be happy to talk with them at a time that is more convenient for me, at around midnight, as I am not a "day" person. What really gets them is that I'm a practicing nudist at home. The postman always brings my mail up though.

Well, it would depend on if I knew the person. If I knew them, and they tried to preach to me about Christianity, I would invite them in, and politely tell them that I'm happy with my religion, but we can still talk. If I didn't know them, and they were trying to preach to me about Christianity, I would politely tell them I'm happy with my religion, say have a good day, and shut the door.

Ok that's just mean.

I have no problem with Christians, really, as long as they're really acting in a Christlike manner. But for the average Jehovah's Witness or whatnot, I treat them with respect. I'm not Christian, or any religion, but if someone comes to my door I will treat them with respect and hear what they might have to say. I might even grab them a pop or something if they're thirsty. They're working to spread the truth as it has been revealed to them, and they're mostly peaceful and mean well. That's laudable, and I think we need a lot more of that in our world.

Provided they didn't try to convert me, preach at me, say the dreaded "Maybe you just haven't found the right religion yet" like all the mormons I come across, or otherwise be aggravating, I'd do absolutely nothing.

I don't just associate with those within my religion you know. I'm Wiccan. We're a secretive and quiet bunch. I don't know any local Wiccans because we're usually naturally that way and because I prefer to be a solitary witch without a covens influence.

Christians are just like everyone else so long as they aren't being annoying blathering on about their religion.

Well if you mean a Christian missionary, there's an easy solution. Tell them you're Catholic and they almost always go away. If you mean an average Schmoe who happens to be a Christian, I guess probably the same thing I'd do if anyone else knocked on the door. I'd say "Can I help you?"

Well you are either talking about Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons. Mormons normally don't knock unless invited. So that leaves Witnesses. A more peaceful, moral, upright group of Christians does not exist, even if you dont believe their message.

So I would probably say Im not interested and shut the door. You would probably cuss them out and make a fool of yourself. Its up to you.

I'd respect them as much as you would respect any other people.
We're all humans, and there are no particular reason to hate them. If it wasn't a bad comment why would you need to worry about getting reported, however here is my view and I hope you get some more feed back.

Rather than argue sophomoric idiotic meanderings, I now treat them with respect and tell them that I am just happy as I am. I wish them a nice day. They respond with courtesy. Then they go on their way, hoping to help out someone who needs their level of spirituality.

Courtesy and respecting other humans is a good thing.

Why the anger, girl ?
Just say: "No, thanks. I already know your stuff."

They just think that they are helping you. Tell them that you
don't need their help, and that you are aware of the
consequences of not accepting Jesus as your Savior,
and have made your choice . LOL. Just kidding !

I must admit that I have enjoyed talking with Jehovah's
Witnesses, and Pentecostals, but after some time,
they get boring. Same stuff, repeated ad nauseam.
But it doesn't mean that the things they say cannot be true.
