That was an asshole thing to say.
First, IT'S NOT A MONKEY, IT'S AN APE.
I don't know what in hell it is with some Christians but they can't seem to get it through their thick skulls that we aren't descended from monkeys. Monkey's are a different line of evolution.
We are descended from apes. More specifically, we're descended from what's called simian ancestry. What that means is that the modern ape and us are descended from the same creature.
If you can't get even that small fact down, don't even bother trying to argue that we aren't descended from apes because you already proved that you don't have a clue what your talking about and thus totally invalidated everything you've said after you mentioned the word "monkey" and so made your whole post nothing but a joke.

Monkeys do not adhere to any religion, unless they are the ones in the bush family, although they are far less intelligent than the Chimpanzees they resemble, they fervently worship money!!
