Where can I find a good Model T mechanic?

My wheezer valve is making a funny popping noise, and also I'm having trouble keeping up on the interstate. People keep honking their horns at me, and I need to figure out how to make it go faster.

I don't think it's wheezer valve. It sounds more like a zorbin whisher to me. All you have to do is change the little calculator on top of it and you will not be able to hear the popping. As for going faster have you thought of hooking a tow rope on it? That way you could have your wife pull you as fast as you want and you could get even by honking your horn(ahhhhogggaaaa) at all those ungrateful people.

With Halloween coming up, I would have to suggest a cemetery or a seance. But seriously, the Model T was supposed to be so simple that any man can work on one. The L head 4 cylinder is little more than a lawn tractor engine. The transmission and clutch and differential are straight forward designs with nothing special in disassembly or repair. I rode in an original on the highway at 50 miles per hour. It was terrifying. (Sitting a foot away from a plate glass windshield on a wooden bench seat with no seat belt.)

you dont need a mechanic you need a V8 drop some blue oval power into, i suggest 427, but then i dont know if your car can handle that power and torque, maybe go for a little four banger. Ha Ha a model T on the highway.

All the real pros are dead now. The T was made from 1908 to about 1928, so finding a good mechanic is going to be tough...
