That is why they are not accepted, they are a cult.
They have a right in the USA to be Mormons if they wish, but that doesn't make them Christians. If your dog had puppies in the oven that wouldn't make them cookies. Their claim to be Christians doesn't make them Christians.

I'm a non-Fundamentalist Christian (yes, there are millions of us in many different denominations), and I have no problem with Mormons. They have the right to believe as they see fit. And the term "cult" technically applies to any religious group, including your own.

It seems the apostles had a problem close to yours. They complained to Jesus that some one else was doing miracles, but he didn't follow them. YOU might expect Jesus would denounce that man. Instead he rebuked the disciples and said, "if anyone gives you a drink of water in my name, he shall not lose his reward."
I take comfort in Jesus saying that we should rejoice in persecution, since this is how they treated the prophets. So thank you for the blessing of your contempt.

I do belief LDS church are established to worship God, not man.
Whether the Christian Community accept us or not will not change how we serve God.
We respect others for their belief and opinions,
and we do expect that we also have the right to worship according to our belief.
