before i was allowed to be put on acutane, i had to sign a bunch of releases... females must use 2 forms of birth control at a time. if you are to get pregnant, well severe defects can occur. it sounded horrible as i read it. then, there is also risk of sudden deep suicidal tendencies. yeah... and you have to sign off saying you understand these risks.
ok, so i never did go on to accutane because i wasn't willing to take that ever so small risk of super deep suicidal tendencies, let alone somehow getting pregnant... i would rather sleep well at night.
i had to go through so many years of treatments before the dermatologist suggested acutane anyhow. acutane works- or else they wouldn't put people on such risky meds.
i don't know about acnezine... i just looked it up. it is very different from the concept of acutane. acutane is prescription only & acnezine is well... anyone can buy it.

I took this for Acne(severe) It was way back in the late 80s/early 90s in the UK. It had some strange side effects,my skin peeled like a snakes. I think this is supposed to occur but it's very disconcerting. I think i recall an issue a few years later in the press about depression and suicidal tendencies during the treatment. Read and reread all of the side effects that are detailed in the packet. I hope your under a competent DR and or Dermatologist. It does work, but i hid myself away for several weeks until most of the effects had subsided.I had a good older brother who lived miles away from my home area and i hid out at his place, just watching Video's in those days in the dark ,i felt like a leper,i avoided mirrors and washed off as much of the skin as poss every morning and night. You do need to drink plenty of fluids, preferably water. Good luck and look to the goal until reached. It improved my confidence no end when my acne subsided, all the best, kind regards Simon H

I took acutane, and I didn't feel any of the deadly symptoms.... I took it for 6 months and my face, chest, back and arms were filled with acne since I was little. After the 6 months was over my skin was THE BEST! It cleared up my back, arms, and chest first. I wanted my face to be first since I was modeling. But it was worth the wait. Its been about 4 years now and I ha vent had any return pimples nor the pimples the would show up around that time of the month. I had insurance so I only had to pay $25 per treatment. The bad parts were the frequent blood tests and the dryness in my nose. But that cleared up. Good luck!

i have been on acutane and yes it works. it really depends on your insurance how much it will cost. i think mine was only 20 dollars for a months worth, then it went up to 50 after we change companies. you just have to make sure you keep up w/ taking the pills and it really helps. the side effects suck tho. dry skin i know for a fact. i hated that. also maybe some depression for sure. it has been a couple of years since i've been off but i would much rather have no acne.

I had severe acne both on my face and back and after trying countless of dermatologists’ treatment options, I'd still found myself frustrated by my debilitating acne problem. I finally found a program that did a fantastic job of showing me the right way... The holistic way! After less than a month of following the advice on this site
( http://bit.ly/Remove-Acne-Fast ), most of my acne was gone.

acutane but i hear that females shouldnt take acutane because if they get pregnate while on it, birth defects could occur. and even later down on the road years from now birth defects may occur... the latter hasnt been proven but they say it just to be safe. talk to a dermatologist.
i dont know anything about acnezine.

You really have to ask your doctor about these medicines.
Your doctor will let you know which acne medicine is best for you.
