I would have to say they are, i like them better than dogs because they arent so noisy. And they are usually a soft cuddly bundle of love and fur. I guess youve never had a cat before? well welcome to planet earth.

A cat is a wonderful pet. They are extremely independent. It is always a good idea to spend a lot of time with them as a kitten because it will teach them to be more loving towards you as they grow older. The down sides to having a cat is the stinky litter box and the hair... but these days its easy to toilet train a cat. I have had cats all my life and I love them!!!

Yes, cats are wonderful pets. They can be litter trained, they don't get as smelly as other pets, they like it when you coddle them, their furs are very smooth to touch, they play with any small thing that moves around because of their curiosity, they can just lie there sleeping on you lap or play with you with a ribbon or something. I love cats, you'll love them too.

In my adventure, those are frequently the terrific cats to have. 5 of my six are rescues from the streets, and that they are astonishing cats. they're all very loving and look appreciative of the actuality that they have got a comfortable abode and don't could hassle the place their next meal is coming from. The 6th became rescued from a hoarder, so might desire to besides have been a highway cat. as long as you're taking the cat to a vet to be examined for illness/parasites, spayed/neutered and vaccinated then all would be properly. That suggested, in case you undertake from some puppy shops you're doing an identical undertaking as adopting a highway cat. some shops, Petco and Petsmart especially, have cats up for adoption from area shelters. they're frequently already vet checked, vaccinated and spay/neutered. The puppy shops i could sidestep are those advertising purebred kittens/cats. those shops are frequently offered by ability of kitten generators the place cats are bred below undesirable situations.

Cats can be really good pets but I recommend to spay or neuter them. When a female cat is in heat she can be extremely bothersome because they cry a lot. And I don't think that you want a bunch of tomcats hanging around your house. They also mark their territory around the house so if you have anything valuable or living like a plant get it out of the corner. But other than that they can be really cool.

For who? If for a child, then no, they don't know how to treat them unless the parents have had this expierence and can teach the child. Cats are fantastic but you don't know anything about them so if you are considering one please research them and the cost of feeding, neutering/spaying and litter because you shouldn't let them run free outdoors. Cost should always be considered cats get sick too.

Depends what you are looking for from a pet. They can be loving and fun, but only when they want to be, they are very independent! I have two and they give me lots of fun, but do like to do their own thing.

It seems that the nature of the cat is that it will be social on its terms when they don't feel like playing they don't really want to be messed with. They are low maintenance sine you don't have to run them or take them on long walks. They're fairly independent and will enjoy quiet company.
