Its a self rewarding task to eat yummy kitty poo..
You can turn the litter box opening to the wall, assuming you use the covered box, or put it in a room where the dog can't go..such as using a baby gate that cat can go over, or under, but dog can't..

Cat food is high in fat and a large amount of the food is still undigested when it comes out. Dogs love fatty foods and so in essence they think cat poo is a doggy candy bar. Poo eating is called coprophagia, search it on the web and you can find lots of different solutions. One I like is called Distaste. It is a powder you can get to put on your cat's food, when the cat eats it, it makes his poo taste bad to the dog. The best way is to keep the litter box where the dog cannot get to it. They make litter box cabinets that look like furnature and the hole for the cat to go in is in the back so company isn't any the wiser and the dog cannot get into it. You could also put the catbox in the laundry room or another room and install a kitty door in the door to the room so only the cat can get in (if the dog is bigger than the cat) or use a baby gate to keep the dog out. The cat can still jump it to get in or you can raise the gate about a foot off the floor in the doorway and the cat can go under it (again, this only works if the dog is not a small dog).

I thought the question was how to stop eating it not drag it into living room two different things, let your cat eat pineapple as dogs don't like it in the poo, as far as eating it, but dragging it in living room, you have to just consistently catch him and go croak on him

a number of dogs attempt this. Mine does and it thoroughly grosses me out. cat nutrients is extreme in protein and so is their poop so dogs like it. the ultimate aspect to do is placed the litterbox in an section the dogs won't be able to get authentic of entry to. Mine is in a closet with a latch on it that in hardship-free words helps the door to open about 5 inches so the cat can bypass in notwithstanding the dogs won't be able to. It also helps in case you turn the outlet to face the wall and basically leave slightly room for the cat to get in. this gained't artwork in case your dogs is reliable sufficient to push the litterbox though. The dogs can seize parasites if the cat has any, and he or she would get ill from chemical substances contained in the kitty clutter.

Alot of dogs do this. Keep the liter box clean, or put it somewhere the cat can get to but the dog cant.

You can't. dogs think it's sweet like candy. P/U right away. I put my kitty litter boxes in a big box and cut a hole in it that only the cats can fit into.

You should be training your dog not to do that type of s_ _ t! Each time the dog attempts to do that, you let him know that he has to stop doing that. Once you start training your dog properly, you shouldn't have any problems.

he thinks it's a toy :) just train your pup not to pick up the poop. tell the pup it's bad or say no. be firm and consistent.
