Is there a limit unto how much money your credit card must have? I just need a simple yes or no answer with a brief description on why, thanks.

Your question is a little vague. A credit card has a preset limit determined by the issuing company. How much of that you use is in your control.

Do you mean the smallest balance you can have charged on a credit card or are you talking about a loadable card? If it's the first part of the sentence, no. I have cards I've never used and I've never had a problem. If you mean a loadable card, there might be a minimum amount of money that you can transfer to it.

I don't know what you mean by your credit card "having" money. How does a credit card "have" money? It only transfers your money (future payments) to fund your current transactions. Do you mean lowest credit limit, minimum income to qualify, minimum monthly payments, etc...

I don't think so. I had a Purpose Advantage Discover card (closed down as of Oct. 2006) and they start you off with $50.

if you've got good credit you can get up to $15,000.00 if not you can get an aspire visa with a $300.00 credit line. go to www.creditcards.com and you can look thru all of them.
