Go and search for "circadian rhythms." This is not abnormal, and it's pretty easy to change. Work on slowly adjusting your schedule and being consistent. If you need to study, study the same or similar subjects at the same time. Keeping a fairly routine work schedule is very important too. Avoid switching from day shift to night shift, or vise versa, if your job will permit. Your brain is wired to remember how it's supposed to be feeling at certain places in your rhythm, not necesarrily specific times. Adjust the times slowly, keeping the schedule as similar as possible, and you'll be more effective from day to day rather than night to night.
Oh, and once you reach that point, it will be easier to then adjust your schedule as needed. Just keep it slow and smooth and the transition will be much simpler.

next time you have some free days try taking a camping trip. head out into the wilderness with your tent and a sleeping bag, but don't take any light source except a flashlight. go somewhere wild and away from any articficial light source. if you don't have anything to distract you at night then very quickly your body will take up the natural pattern that humans followed for hundreds of thousands of years, which is falling asleep when it's dark and waking up at dawn. stay there for a little while so that you can become accustomed to your new sleep pattern.
if you live in a place with a cold climate and you have hesitations about winter camping, don't worry. prepare yourself for the outdoors, take all the necessary precautions for winter camping, and you'll be fine. one of the most important things to do when you're out camping in the cold is to keep moving. if you're doing things like chopping wood or hiking all day long then you will definitely be very tired by the time night comes around.

They are so I have heard. During the day you are active so you notice movement less. Also the baby sleeps about 20 mins every hour. During the day when your moving it cause the baby to sleep cause he feels the movement and it rocks him to sleep when your sleeping your not moving so there is nothin really putting him to sleep. LOL It was not till recently that barely felt movement during the day but would wake with him kicking now im 25 weeks and feel him more often later at night his kicks become more often.. LOL i cant drink after 8 or he hits my bladder and I have to pee less then every half hour.

I'm the same way. You don't know the countless all-nighter's I've pulled. You may want to try that. It'll be hard, but it'll help get you on a schedual to where you'll finally be tired at night, and go to bed at a decent hour.

I use to have a problem similar to this.. say for instance I have to be up at.. 8am I'll go to bed around 12am... so I dont get over 8 hours of sleep.. also I stayed up two days straight just to be tired enough to go at 12am.. and if you oversleep that makes you even groggier.. trust me I know...
Good Luck though

You are just a night person. Do you need to change it or can you get a job that can be done at night?
