we all profess to know god and yet we treat other mean just because you feel your faith is right did God tell you there faith was wrong God so loved the world he gave his only beggotten son he teaches us to love not hate, and be mean to each other God is love

christ-like christ healed the sick feed the hungry raised the dead he, loved the people he, humble himself to people he became whatever they was to get to know we can learn from him.

I wonder why as well. And if we are to forgive, why must we insist that everyone conform to one true religion. If you believe something that lights your inner light, your faith should be able to exist with others believing in something different.

The ones who are mean to other people don't love God. The Bible makes that perfectly clear in 1 John 4:20. Just because someone says they love God doesn't mean they really do. Their actions speak louder than their words.

Because Christians feel that they are already saved, absolved and forgiven of everything--they can be the most horrible people on the face of the earth without having to face consequences

Because we're all sick people. Unfortunately a lot of people who claim to love God use their religion as a weapon against those who don't agree with them. I'm sorry, but it's just a fact of life.

Because they don't really love Him and they are hypocrites. Many of them think they are "saved" forever and is God's chosen one and they can do whatever they want to people, good or bad and God doesn't care. Are then in for a rude awakening.
