Some people are not "morning" people. That's why some of us work evening or night shifts. On the other hand, if this is something new to you...see your Doctor. Are you not getting enough, good quality sleep? Do you have sleep apnea? Are you taking medicine that leaves you with a drug hangover the next day? Are you depressed? Do you hate your job/school? There are lots of factors and maybe your Doctor can help you sort through them. Don't put it off, though. You sound miserable. Good luck!

If you have had 8 hours good sleep, then you should be able to wake up easier in the morning. If you haven't had a good sleep, then you need to determine why. If it is low blood sugar happening during the night (check out symptoms at www.hufa.org - symptoms link), then that can cause insomnia, nightmares, night sweats and other things that can disturb sleep.

Otherwise get a really loud alarm, or one that turns on lights, or a friend to come over and wake you up.

Me too. Let's share a bed so we can wake each other up.

Open all your windows and let the sunlight wake you up.

You may be depressed. Can you add more detail to your question?
