She does this anytime she lays on me on my bed. Its the wall behind me I have searched every inch of the wall looking for what she is seeing but the only thing up there is my grandma's crucifix. What is she seeing that I'm not?

What are you so worried about? Aren't cats supposed to be the guardians of the underworld? So technically, even if she does see something you are totally safe with her

Some people believe that cats can see other-worldly things, but chances are she has misidentified your grandma's crucifix and thinks it is a bug or other animal. If she keeps it up try taking down the crucifix and see if she keeps staring.

I'm not sure what part is freaking you out. Your cat is lying on you either because she likes you body heat(cats are sensitive to cold)or because she just likes you or both! As for staring at the wall, she's just staring at the wall or sees a bug or something, my cat does it all the time:). Hope that helped.

Cat's are crazy. Lol, no really, cats do have imaginary friends, inside cats espiscally. There wild animals even if we do coope them up in a little house and they still have the need to hunt, stalk and act like a wild creature. At nighttime is when cats are most active, and when they would be hunting in the wild. So its only natural for you kitty to get all excited and do odd and wild things at night. Its just her trying to fufill that ancient predetory need in her.

1 of 2 things, maybe it is the crucifix that the cat is fixated on, for some unknown reason. It also could be listening to something. Is there noises it could be hearing?

My cat does the same thing. When I fall asleep I always face the same direction. I am sure that my cat does the same thing. Maybe that is how she relaxes. Sometimes I just zone out and stare at the same thing for awhile. Doesn't mean I see anything.

It's not that she is seeing something evil but it can be that she wants to play with it. Let me ask you is it hanging???? And maybe some air moves it a little. My cat does the same thing and there is nothing there but maybe a cobweb I couldn't see.

Animals see things we can't see. My cat does the same thing, he freaks me out. I do believe they can see our guardian angel and spirits. I really don'think it is anything to worry about though. My cat looks up and behind me and does this chatty thing, like if he is talking to someone.

Could be that kitty sees a bug, or maybe there might be critters traveling thru the wall (field mice, etc?). Or, kitty may realize this behavior is freaking you out...and she enjoys making you crazy!
