When my alram clock goes off, I immediately get up and turn it off so that it don't wake my parents. I always tell myself im going to get up early so i can go for a run and workout before having to go to school. I always end up going to bed. Even by setting up more than one time to get up or setting it to snooze, i still manage to go back to bed and forget everything else. What can I do to wake up the time I want to get up?

I have the same problem. I move the alarm clock to the opposite end of the room so I have to get out of bed, then I turn on my TV and light so it would be uncomfortable to sleep. Then I just don't let myself go to my bed again, no sitting, no laying down, if anything, I sit at my chair at my desk.

They say a habit takes 27 consistent days of doing it. It is not easy to take that first step, but after biting the bullet and going for what you want, it will get easier. Then again, you may just not be a morning person, and you can end up making yourself feel miserable by sitting unreasonable expectations of yourself. Maybe it would work out better for you to do your exercise in the evening or later in the day.

if you have a cell phone that has an alarm function, you could set it to vibrate, keep it somewhere you'll feel it (pocket of pajama pants, shirt pocket, perhaps tied to your arm?)

Or if getting up is really just the problem, find some reward, that's worth it, for getting up and doing what you want in the morning.

lol, me too!! anyways if I really have to wake up, I jump directly into a freezing cold shower. The only problem is getting from your nice warm bed to the bathroom, but good luck.

Maybe you're not getting enough sleep. How many hours do you usually get? Go to bed earlier that way you'll be able to wake up earlier.
