I have 2 large orange girls and a small black boy, and I've noticed other orange kitties are fat too.

Is it because they're orange or because they're female? There seems to be two separate similarities there.

BTW, I just asked my orange male tabby about this question and he answered, MEOW. That normally means 'feed me".

Does he get two points too?

I don't know, I have 2 orange cats and their both pretty dainty. But I also heard that orange cats are supposed to be male almost all the time and both of mine are girls. Maybe they just never read the Orange Cat Manual!

I don't think you can make that generalization. My 14 year old male orange tabby has consistently weighed 12 pounds for many years at his annual vet exam. There is an outdoor cat in the neighborhood and she is not one bit overweight and she is an older cat. The cat next door is an orange tabby and he is not overweight at all. He is only two years old.

My orange cat is much much bigger than my Siamese. He is the same size as the weiner dog that lives across the street. It's a pretty fair fight really when she comes inside and wants to play.

my sister has a big orange cat (about 25 pds) and a little black cat and both of my siamese cats are smaller than the orange one as well. i never really paid attention to it until now.

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever seen an orange cat that wasn't fat

I haven't noticed that. I know an orange cat that is actually quite muscular (and really long).
