Allright, it may sounds like I'm stupid ...
I've recently just broke up with my 6-yrs long relationship with my ex-bf. Needless to say I think I'm ready getting back to dating game. So, it's fair to say that I haven't been gone to the first date in a while. But past weekend, I did and it went great. But, he answered his cell phone during our date ... just briefly though. Evidently some of his friends asked him to go to a party and he said "well, can't really talk right now dudes ... I'm kinda busy ... yeah I'm on a date with a hot gal" ... Then he talked some more with his friends briefly and ended the phone. Ya' know it may sound stupid, but I really didn't know what he meant with calling me hot? I mean, cute or beautiful would've been better I think. I like him a lot but I do not want to sleep with him on our 2nd date. Any advice?

It was his friends calling. Even if you looked like Jo-Jo the Dog Faced Boy, he woulda said you looked hot to impress them.
Not that you probably didn't, I just wouldn't read a helluva lot into it, you know?

Nothing. He was bragging to his guys. What? Even if she is ugly, he's gonna say she's hot (That's new slang for noncommittal suggestion that you are mating material). He's a bum for taking the call from his buds. Only in an emergency would I interrupt a date to answer the phone, and then only after I explain to you briefly why it's important to answer.
P.S. I can tell from your question, you are just the kind of woman who would appreciate my gentlemanly manners. On a date, she's got my complete attention.

Hot does not mean a boy likes u, as lots of guys call girls hot or sexy and all they actually want is a bit of fun/ sex. however if he is kind and flirty and spends time with you consistently he may think ur really good looking and also be enjoying your personality which is definatly a good thing!

That is his way of telling his friends you are cute or pretty. He doesn't want to sound silly in front of them, and he probably thought it would be flattering for you. I think he played it well, it doens't mean he is just in it because you are good looking, it means he would rather spend time with you then them, and that is his way of letting them down without ditching them. He probably wanted to make them a little jealous too. As far as i'm concerned there was nothing wrong with it, dont worry about it.
P.S. (Did he get some lemon cherry crem buelay for durt durt?)

He likes you. He thinks you look good, babe! Don't sleep with him until you know him well enough that your absolutely positive that doing that is the right thing. I would definetly advise against giving it up so quick, you need to make him want to impress and work for your affections, you know?
It was kinda rude of him to answer his cell, but at least he kept it brief. It's forgiveable unless he makes a constant habit of this. Get to know him as a person... you want to make sure your not rebounding.

Hot means sexy, sultry, or whatever word you want to use. its the ZZZZZAAAP u see when you look at someone particularly attractive to your liking. U dont wanna sleep with him...well GL I dont hae advice for that one
