Odds are in your favor you'll at least get a few more inches. A lot of guys grow taller after they turn 17. Genetics has a lot to do with it, though, as does your racial background. Best wishes to you.

At 17 you are far from done growing unless you smoke. Be honest do you smoke? If yes when did you start? The younger the more it will stunt your growth. If you do not now nor have eversmoked and do not live with indoor smokers dude you'll grow! My husband is 25 and just shot up another inch he's 6 1 now and he was 5 11 when we married 4 1/2 years ago. Plus he smoked (not anymore) imagine if he never had.

Eventually you'll have to accept your height, because there is nothing you can do about it. How tall are your parents & grandparents? This should give you some idea about how tall you'll end up. You do still have a few years to grow, I've known a few men who had growth spurts in their early 20's. Once you get out of high school, you'll probably find that people do take you seriously. People can be jerks sometimes.

i'm shorter than you mate, and i'm 18. i know it sucks. swimming is something you could do. helps stretch your body. jumping may not be all that good. cause when you land, you put pressure on your bones and that'll make you shorter. another way is to get sleep. make sure you sleep enough everyday.
posture, maintain good upright posture all the time.
all the best. do some pullups or something. lol.
i'm still short. maybe cause i run and gym too much and sleep not enough.
oh yeah. eat bananas too.

adult males prefer shorter gfs, no longer taller. So, once you're short, evaluate your self fortunate. adult males frequently do no longer care how short their gf is--i'm 6'0" and dated women below 5'--no concern I say.
