They should be fine even if they were sitting out in your basement for the last four years. Well, as good as Bacardi is, anyway. Bacardi was never my favorite, but as long as they haven't frozen and burst the bottles (unlikely with hard liquor), there shouldn't be any safety concerns. They will not, however, have aged much if stored in such cold temperatures. I would expect them to taste pretty much as they did when first purchased. The one condition is that they have either been stored with the cap on, or never opened in the first place. The alcohol will keep them from getting moldy or anything like that.

Don't listen to half these people. They are guessing. The rum should be fine. If it is sealed you might be fine. If it has been open throw it out. The reason you store wine on its side is to keep the cork wet. Otherwise the cork will rot. Try to open your bottle and I bet the cork will fall apart. Smell the wine. Old wine turns to vinegar if not stored properly. Does your wine smell like vinegar? Also, check the bottle for mold. You might see some mold floating around in the wine. Otherwise, you will probably be okay.

they will be a little stronger and more powerful in the kick they have, but they haven't gone bad. I had a bottle of peppermint schnapps in my freezer for like 6 years because I forgot about it and it just got better, so I can't see rum going bad. Go buy a case of Pepsi and have some fun!

Gosh, just send them on over here, and I'll check them and get back to ya! *EG*

If the seal has not been broken and and they've been frozen not exposed to heat, I am gonna say, of course they'll be fine!

Two years ago in Spring in Alaska, when snow melted, we found about 24 liquor bottles left by a former property owner, so they'd been there quite awihle and it was absolutly fine!
ENJOY!

If they're Bacardi, they weren't any good in the first place, regardless of how cold or old they are.

Throw them away and get some decent rum instead of that evil mass-produced rubbish...

Yes they are still good! You are better than me because Bacardi doesn't stand a chance around my friends and myself! Especially for four years.

Yes it's still good. We store all our good liquor in the freezer. It keeps better that way, slows evaporation, and keeps the kids out of it.
