I sometimes have abdominal pain that occurs once about every month or so and it feels like that pain that you get when you have been running for awhile.

i am guessing it's b4 you have your period... if cucle is 28 days, around day 14 or so? (count from day one of your last period...)

it's likely mittelschmerz. (in medical world terms... laymans terms: Painful ovulation)

"The pain may be sharp, intermittent, or crampy (like menstrual cramps). It may be sudden and excruciating, or it may be dull and constant. The pain may gradually increase in intensity. The area may feel tender to the touch. The pain may be accompanied by fever, nausea, and vomiting."

this is an exerpt from this website... you may find it interesting...

I do not believe it's appendicitis. That would be accompanied by fever, and increasing pain, followed by dull, or no pain at all... could have ruptured, and would have to go to hospital because so ill... not appendix if it's every month. ANYWAY... check out the website. I think you will find it interesting!!

Good Luck!!! :o)

Not likely, appendicitis pain is rather unbearable and you’d want to be rushed to a clinic – not be checking your symptoms online like this!

The pain may be attributed to a variety of reasons, menstrual cramps, gallbladder, kidney stones, etc. – since it is a nagging problem, I’d suggest it is best to consult a medical practitioner and not go by online advice. Its your health that matters. Keep well…

You would know if you had appendicitis.
The pain would be unbearable.

What you are describing could just possibly be due to ovulation, believe it or not.
Some women do actually get pains every month as ovulation occurs.

Either way,
have your doctor check you out to be sure.

That's most likely muscle pain.

Appendicitis happens halfway between your navel and your hip bone, on the right side. It seldom gets better once it starts. If you don't want surgery, the doc just smiles and waits another hour, at which point you'll be begging for surgery.

If you have sharp pain in your right side you need to go to the hospital. Because you can have appendicitis or pregnancy in you tubes either or.
