NO Adam was in the Garden before the concept of time. Before the concept of opposites before good and evil up and down black or white. Time started when Adam left the Garden. Metaphorically of course, as the whole story is a metaphor for the human soul and the fact that God exists out side of Time and space and our concepts of opposites and judgments. He trancends all of it.

He was only 130 when he had Seth, and was out of the Garden by then. And I couldn't be happier.
