I hate that there are ignorant people in this room who belive that every muslim has explosives attatched to them! See what the images we have recieved from Bush and media have given us.
I suggest you talk to a school counselor, or speak to the principal again. If the principal remains ignorant, make an appeal to the school district.

Ask them how they would feel should the Germans come looking for them once again.
I feel for you really. My husband is Muslim and We have a 1 year old and a newbaby on the way. They too will be Muslim. I hope by the time They go to school the children and teachers will be educated enough to not single out other's due to their religion. (As for the Idiot that replied before about it being good..."Get a life otherwise be prepared to let Satan know whether you want to be charbroiled or slow roasted"). All men are created equal. God didn't just make one type of person in this world and then mysteriously the others just popped out of nowhere.
* Don't fight back as it will only add to what they already believe about you.

IF you are telling the truth and not trying to stir things up; I will say this:
NO ONe should be bullied.--especially for their religion. We should respect others--we may not agree w/ them but we should always respect them.
IF this is true, most schools now have anti bullying policies. IF your principal won't do anything, go the the Superintendnt. IF that didnt work, I would try the media. The squeaky wheel gets the oil is an appropriate saying here.

Of course fighting doesn't help. My first thought is why don't your parents believe you? As the Christian wife of a Muslim husband and Muslim son, and so much exposure to the Muslim culture in America, I have found most Muslim parents VERY READY to voice any concerns they have about perceived discrimination and bullying of themselves or their children. If no one at home or your school will help you, try calling the school district office and make a complaint. If no one helps you then, call the organization CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) at www.cair.com, which helps against discrimination of Muslims in the US.

If you are being bullied and it is because of your race or religion and your principal won't help you, you need to go above him. Even principals have bosses. You need to go to the school board. Threaten to file a human rights charge against the school district.
That should get their attention:
In the mean time log in a book dates and situations that are taking place so that you have something concrete to back up what you are saying. Use this log with your parents as well so that they know exactly what is going on.

I find some of the answers on this page utterly deplorable. In fact, no better than the bullies themselves.
Bullying for no reason is bad enough, but bullying someone because of their religious beliefs is dispicable.
If the school will not protect you, you should go to the police and start filing charges against the bullies. Get restraining orders against them and you know, I would go to the media and let everyone know how derelect the principal is in the performance of his duties to ensure the safety of his students.

Well first of all how old are you? Second, why are they picking on you? Is it because of your race or something else? I ask your age beacuse if your parents don't believe you then im assuming your young; age 11 or younger. Don't fight back that will just make things worse for you. But don't be afraid to stand up to them tell them to back off or else, don't play the weak game. Im not saying that you should threatn' them but you know make it clear that your sick and tired of their stuff.

Where I live you can report them to the police under a bully law that was recently passed which includes a $500-$1000 fine. If you do report them I would also add the fact that their bullying is based on racial discrimination.

Go back to the principal and tell him him if he won't help then your next stop is the police. That will get him to help, or if you feel he still won't go to the police and state your case

You should definately seek help. Sit down and talk to your parents. If they won't believe you, you've gotta stop attending school so that they will put seriousness to the matter and put a stop to the bulling - as it can be very serious.
May Allah be with you. Remain strong, my brother.
