they all charge different prices. also depends on where you live, and how far they have to drive to get to your house. also, it depends on if they are bonded or not

my pet sitter charges $21 for half an hour. this includes talking to and massaging my Yorkie. of course walking him, feeding him, changing the water etc. i live in los angeles btw

you're better off to take him to a doggy day care if you are planning to live him for longer times, but based on your question, it looks like you want someone to let the dog out.

so yeah, it depends where u live

I have a lady that does this. I use her for an every other day with my cats if I am away, but some people use her every day for walking and such. For me and most people that are away, she charges $15 an hour. In that hour for me, she cleans the litter box, changes the water and food bowls and plays with and pets whom ever is a willing participant. If it's more like someone who will be coming in once a day while you are at work, you may want to set something up on a weekly rate. If she is a neighbor and only has to walk over at some point between lets say 11 and 2 and let the dog out for 10 minutes, then $20 a week should be sufficient. If someone actually has to drive over, then you would have to compensate them for their gas and time, and maybe pay $25-$30 for the week.

When I was a kid I did this for some of my neighbors and got $10 or $20 a week depending on how many times they needed me to come each day. Of course I was eleven and I don't care to disclose how long ago that was! But if you know of any trustworthy, responsible kids in your neighborhood and your dog likes kids, this could be a fun and economical way to go.

I would say hire a family member or a neighbor to do it. I wouldn't trust some company to come into your home. A doggy day care is always a good option too, like the girl said above^^

It probably depends on your geographical area. I used to pay $12/day in Chicago. This was about 5 years ago.
