when i inhale through my nose, i have an odd taste and smell at the back of my throat. what can cause that?

i ate at a Thai restaurant and had shrimp with curry and coconut milk. ever since i ate it, i have had this smell and taste. it's like a metallic taste. it has been 4 days since i ate it.

thats happened to me before. I had to drink warm water and drink honey for a few days...tea may help too
